Jet Skis Can Spot Sharks...

TWO hammerhead sharks have been spotted at Rainbow Bay

The pair of 2m sharks were spotted by the Gold Coast City Council’s new Lifeguards Marine Watch aerial-surveillance aircrafts. The planes circled the pair about 60m from the water to confirm their suspicions, then notified the lifeguard towers.

Another Sighting, Jet Ski’s can ALSO spot sharks

In another shark sighting, Marine Water director John Neilsen said jet-ski riders and fishermen at Cudgen yesterday reported a four to five-metre tiger shark within 20m of them.
